Yep, that time of year is approaching.

On Tuesday, ESPN's Joe Lunardi released his first in-season Bracketology of 2011-12 and the Kentucky Wildcats are one of his four No. 1 seeds. UK is projected to play 16th-seeded Campbell in the second round (formerly known as the first) with a potential matchup against either New Mexico or Purdue looming in the third round.

The other No. 1 seeds are Syracuse, North Carolina and Ohio State.

Lunardi has the Wildcats playing their second and third round games in the KFC Yum! Center in Louisville, Ky. Placed in the Midwest Regional, Sweet 16 and Elite Eight games would be in St. Louis, Mo. UK is joined in the regional by No. 2 Baylor, No. 3 seed Connecticut, No. 4 seed Marquette, No. 5 seed Virginia and No. 6 seed Murray State.

UK is one of five Southeastern Conference teams in the bracket. Florida checks in as a four seed, Mississippi State a six, Alabama an eight and Vanderbilt a nine.

The high seed for the Wildcats comes as no big surprise, as UK is currently ranked No. 2 in both major polls, boasting wins over No. 4 North Carolina, No. 11/10 Louisville and No. 14/15 Kansas. UK is also rated No. 6 according to RealTimeRPI.com.
