Kentucky wins Big Blue Crush for second straight year

For the second consecutive year, Kentucky defeated Tennessee in the Big Blue Crush, the annual blood donation battle between the two neighboring states in fan bases.

The final score was 3,219-2,969 in favor of the Wildcat faithful as the blood supply was boosted for the holiday season. With the win, Kentucky cuts Tennessee's lead in the 24-year series to 12-11 with one tie.

The presentation of the Big Blue Crush trophy will be at the Kentucky-Tennessee football game on Saturday, Nov. 26.
