- The Kentucky football team suffered a 35-7 loss to No. 1 LSU on Saturday in Baton Rouge, La.
- The Wildcats' defense performed well in the game, limiting LSU to 169 passing yards, which is the fourth time this season the UK secondary has limited its opponent to 175 passing yards or less. UK also limited its opponent to eight or fewer pass completions for the second consecutive game.
- UK boasts the SEC's top-two tackles with senior linebacker Danny Trevathan ranking first with 59 stops and senior hybrid defender Winston Guy sitting second with 53 stops.
- UK's offense was led by true freshman running back Josh Clemons, who carried the ball a career-high 21 times for 69 yards, while senior wide receiver Matt Roark had a career game with four catches for 19 yards and his first career touchdown reception.

- The volleyball team wrapped up a four-match road swing with a pair of wins at SEC Western Division foes.
- Junior setter Christine Hartmann passed out 40 or more assists in both matches and moved into 10th place all-time in the UK records for career assists.
- Sophomore Whitney Billings' defensive effort was a difference maker in both victories. Billings had a season-high 15 digs at Arkansas, and a season-high six blocks at LSU. She ranked second on the team with 3.29 digs per set and had 1.14 blocks per set.
- Junior Ashley Frazier totaled a career-high 18 kills in the win at Arkansas, and freshman Lauren O'Conner paced the attack with 13 kills on a career-high .545 hitting percentage in the win at LSU.

- Caitlin Landis scored the game-winning goal on Friday night, her first game-winner of the season and her fourth goal of the year. It was also Landis' third goal in conference play, tying her for second in goals scored in league games.

- Kayla Price recorded her first career SEC shutout and her fourth of the season, tying her for fourth most shutouts among UK freshmen goalies.

Men's soccer

- The No. 21 Kentucky men's soccer team wrapped up a brutal travel stretch with two games in the Sunshine State last week, part of a six-day journey. UK suffered a pair of overtime losses, falling 2-1 at No. 10 UCF on Wednesday in Orlando, before FIU notched a 1-0 overtime win over UK on Sunday in Miami.
- Kentucky completed its rugged travel slate with the two-game swing in Florida. During a 15-day span the Wildcats traveled more than 9,700 miles, including trips to California, South Carolina, Nebraska and Florida. During that stretch, UK faced No. 3 Creighton, No. 10 UCF, No. 13 Cal, No. 15 Brown, Stanford and FIU.
- The Wildcats have been paced by a prolific offensive attack through their first 13 games, netting 27 goals, posting 2.08 goals scored per game and 16.4 shots per contest.
