| 38 Comments | No TrackBacks

The UK-Austin Peay men's basketball game on Saturday at 4 p.m. will be broadcast live regionally on Comcast/Charter Sports Southeast.

CSS is distributed in approximately 10 million homes and is carried by ESPN Full Court and ESPN360.com. For those fans that don't have access to CSS, several affiliates have made the game available to its paying cable customers.

Insight Communications will be providing Saturday's game to all of its customers in Louisville, Lexington, Northern Kentucky, Bowling Green and the Evansville/Henderson area. Jason Keller, director of public affairs for Insight, said the game will be available to all Insight customers in those regions regardless of what programming package they have purchased.

Lexington - channel 17
Louisville - channel 2
Northern Kentucky (Cincinnati area) - channel 6
Bowling Green - channel 5
Evansville/Henderson - channel 2

The broadcast will also be available in select cities outside of Kentucky. The following cable companies have been cleared to show the game on select affiliate channels:

Atlanta - CSS
Tampa - Bright House
Charlotte, N.C. - TW Carolinas
Cincinnati - Cincinnati Bell
New Orleans - COX-NO
Myrtle Beach, S.C. - Conway, Horry, WECHO, Ritter Comm and Frankfurt PB

As a part of the new 15-year ESPN/SEC television agreement, CSS has the rights to a minimum of 20 games per season (eight conference games). This year CSS has been granted 23 television broadcasts.

The Austin Peay game is UK's only televised game on CSS this season.

Direct TV and Dish customers must purchase or have access to the ESPN Full Court package to view the game.

What channel on DirecTV ??

CSS Is Not Xarried By Dish Or Direct TJ Which Is Ridiculous

The only way to see on ESPN is if you have the FULL COURT SPORTS PACKAGE channels are 720 to 727 not sure which one though. I called Diretv today.

what channel in louisville is it on insight cable? I don't know! thanks

What is up with all these games on odd stations? Can't get tickets and now can't watch it on tv.

I don't see anything about Time Warner in Ahland Kentucky. Anyone know if it will be available?

You're exactly right. I've never had so much trouble trying to watch a Kentucky game in past years. I live in Kentucky and can watch North Carolina & Duke, but can't see our wildcats!!

It's on Dish-Cincinnati Channel 421 (CSTHD)

Come on Time-Warner. Set up and do the right thing.

All I want for Christmas is to watch the CATS!!!!!!!!!!!!

again the western end of the state gets no love, what no Paducah area affiliate? hello we are fans done this end too!!!!

Cincinnati Bell is a phone company not a cable company. They have no broadcast capability to speak of.

I live 20 miles outside of Lexington and this is the second game already this season that I cannot watch a UK basketball game on TV. CBS Sports Channel and now ESPN Full Court are not available on my local cable. I guess for those of us who aren't fortunate enough to have Insight or access to these two channels, we are just left out in the cold. All of the televised games need to be available to all and not just a certain group!!!!

Anyone have information for the Wilcat game on Saturday fot Time Wraner canle in Owensboro? I see that it's available on ESPN360, but I can find no other channels. Come on Time Warner, televise this game.

Yes, Cincinnati Bell does offer cable TV, but only to select areas...they are running fiber optics and it will be awhile until the rest of us get it. Time Warner in Cincinnati is apparently not carrying the game:(

Anyone know which channel I can find the game on in the Bardstown or New Haven area with Time Warner. I already had to purchase an additional sports pack to watch one game this is ridiculous! The best team we have had in years and now I have to miss a game, COME ON!

So I guess Time Warner in London is not showing it either?

I sure wish I had Insight cable in Nicholasville right now instead of Time Warner. Yes, I contacted Time Warner appealing for a similar arrangement.

As Agricultural Commissioner I decree that all Kentucky Wild ats will be shown on EVERY channel on every cable and satellite provider. Failure to do so will result in lengthy prison sentences for the program directors of all parties.

Time Warner will be showing the game on channel 860 in Versailles. The cost is 16.00. I have to thank our mayor Fred Sigleman for getting this.

Ritchie, that needs to be top priority when you are governor!

One of the top contries in the team and they are never on national tv. This is ridiculous. Thank goodness they played North Carolina this year so I actually was able to watch one game.

Time Warner channel 860 lists the game as $114. Where did you get the $16, amount Bill?

For Versailles I called Time Warner. Although the channel on the screen says the game is $114, it is indeed $16. BUT, you must call TW to order it between now and the game. You won't be able to order it through the TV. Enjoy!

So I guess from the comments I've seen, if you live in southern indiana and have time-warner, you will not be seeing the game live...

So is this game not going to be televised on TimeWarner in Lawrenceburg, KY? Am I really going to have to watch this game on ESPN360.com, while duke plays gonzaga, and Louisville plays Western Kentucky on "regular" chanels......

this is sad...

TimeWarner customers, you can add the sports pack which includes the CSS channel for $8 month Or if you just call and tell them you want to switch your current package of Blue or red to it you can do it for free.

I am glad I live in Lexington! Go cats

Dishnetwork shows on the guide, that it will be
on channel 447. This is a alternate channel.
Hope to watch.
I live in South Carolina, But have gotten to see
most of the games, since switching to Dish.

Does anyone know if the game will be played on delay anywhere?

My wife called Dish Network and found a deal that if you already have the HBO/Showtime combination package, you can sign up for the ESPN Full Court and receive the HBO/Showtime free for 3 months. They also allow you to spread the payment for the ESPN FC out over 4 months. So basically, as the movie package costs around 24 dollars a months you will in essence be paying around 18 dollars for the ESPN FC. As the season for the ESPN FC terminates in March, there is no need to worry about paying for the rest of the year. Hope this helps.

Kentucky-Austin Peay on DirecTV channel 643.

It's $16.00 for Time Warner Cable customers on channel 860. $114.00 is for the whole season.

I just called and ordered it!!

Thanks Shaina, your a life saver!!!

Will the game be replayed on any channel in Lexington??

Channel 643 on Direct TV is only good if you pay for the Full Sports package. Otherwise, too bad, so sad.

I watched the game on the web via ESPN360.com. Great game... GO CATS!!!
